The CQPS DIAMOND
By CHRIS VANNDY
The Center for Queer Prairie Studies launched an exciting open call to artists from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas in 2024. Among the remarkable contributions to the gallery were itesm from Chris Vanndy’s Crystal Menagerie, including the “CQPS DIAMOND” which he artfully crafted to mirror the organization’s emblem. The vibrant neon pink inverted triangle is a powerful symbol of resistance and advocacy for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
The CQPS diamond was proudly displayed at the CQPS Garage Studio during the Tulsa Artist Fellowship from May 25 to June 4, 2024, celebrating the vibrant voices and artistry that resonate within the community.
